Robson Moura 40 Degrees BJJ Camps in the Books

Wow what a week. Robson Moura rolled into Daytona Beach and scared the latest tropical story out of the neighborhood. The storm was set to hit Florida and move across to Daytona the week before the camp was to start. But I guess it wanted nothing to do with the 7 Time World BJJ Champ Robson Moura.

Leo Ramos, owner of 40 Degrees BJJ Camps, scheduled the camp on one of America's best beaches. He asked Richard Crunkilton if he would open in gym for the camp. Richard is the 16-2 WEC 155lbs contender. Without hesitation he welcomed all the campers in along with Robson.

The camp went like this. 8am on the beach for a light conditioning workout. 10am off to the gym for 2 hours of instruction. Robson covered his best hip movement drills along with simple and effective positions. The 2 hours was followed by light sparing where we to apply the techniques of the day. Back at 3:30 for more of a question and answer session.

We all spit up and went to the beach and dinner. Friday night the guys went out and hit the town.

2 Guys took their families and as one 4 year old said "had the best vacation ever!" The 2 families bonded and had a great time on the beach and at the pool. I am sure next time a camp comes up the wives and kids will be in full support!
